ok well, didnt get much help on this thread so im not going to bother posting any pictures. im having a battle with bud rot, i been just cutting the affected areas off, there hasnt been that much, my friend keeps telling me to go ahead and harvest, but i want to get a few more days out of it...

near jax here, know it probly doesnt help much, i have one about to harvest thats been growing in the ground since like april i think, im not sure. havnt done anything except water it. the water is from the koi pond tho so i guess its got some extra nutrients in it. oh, and ive had to cover it 2...

quite a few of my leaves are starting to turn yellow and curling upwards, does that mean its not getting enough water or too much water?

second picture is the 2 buds that got tied, the bottom bud is the one that was looking the best, 3rd and 4th is the same bud, doesnt look as good as it did before

well, it rained last night, when i got up and went outside this morning one of the lower buds was on the ground, it was actually the one i took a picture of and the one i thought looked the best so far, im not sure if it was from the rain, or the bud getting too fat for the branch, so i tied it...

those are some pretty good ideas, tho hopefully it will be done growing before it gets cold again, the next day after the freeze it was 77 degrees, today its almost 80

i read an article, seems pretty interesting, im thinking about setting up something sometime soon now

here it is morning, i didnt get up as early as i wanted to, suns been up for a couple hours, but it looks like it made it through

i had to make a shelter for my plant last night because it got below freeezing, used pvc pipe to put blankets and sheets over,seems to have worked

so this is what i came up with, its 44 degrees out now, hope it works

i know its not ready, i just posted my first post in the outdoor section, please check it out, first pic is one of the lower buds, for some reason they look better than the upper ones, second is the very top of the plant, 3rd is the wole plant(ovbiously) i just put the pvc pipe up because...

not to mention the fact its growning in pretty much sand, i think there might be a foot of topsoil under the rocks, then its straight sand, not sure if the water from the koi pond has any affect on the plant, but its growing so...

im not going to be out there all night, and its a very small fireplace, my mom was burning in it a few days ago i got pretty pissed off because it puts off a lot of heat, and i dont want to shock the plant or anything, its only supposed to freeze for one night. i think if i get it pretty covered...

a couple sheets or blankets i guess, what should i use?

im new here, just did my first post in the outdoor section, been reading a lot on this forum the last month or 2, wish i could make it out to this event. would be awesome especially since its my birthday, but im in florida, no job, and broke. oh well maybe next year

im not exactly sure how long its been growing, since june i assume. i saw it and just let it do its own thing. This is the first plant that ive actually seen pretty much the whole grow process. didnt worry about it till it turned out to be female, its not in direct sunlight for more than a few...
