My water is actually harder at around 700ppm or so.
I use an RO to mix with my tap to achieve about a half and half mix. Being hard, there are so many good trace minerals etc it would be a crime to go full RO and have to add back cal/mag.
You definitely don't need RO, but I find my 50/50 mix...
I use the following formula
Metric
10*L/C= Ml per day
C= % concentration of H2O2
L= Number of liters in reservoir
G= Number of Gallons in reservoir
I should note, that I use 35% Food Grade H202 and add it at 2ml per gallon at every res change. About every 2-3 days I add about 1ml per...
You just need to experiment with your plants my friend. I typically feed 1.2 at the very top end. I grow FRDWC though which gives high DO levels. This allows plants to assimilate nutes better (i.e less nutes needed) than other growing methods.
Some indicas can easily take 2.2 or more. But just...

I love H202 and would not grow...
I might let them sit for a few minutes at least. Full strength at 3%. Rinse them out really good after.
The leaves that are already turning yellow will not come back. New growth shouldn't be a problem, if you curb the algae. I usually pinch them off once they look "dead" (droopy or completely...
I would start with fresh solution., if the existing solution is more than a few days old. The older the res gets the more slat buildup you get which throws the EC out of whack. I rarely add nutes other than to a fresh tank.
go by the EC!! ppm is just a conversion. the difference between .5 and .7 conversions is simply American vs European~! Sorta like US gallons vs Imp gallons.
Some nutes may also turn the roots brown. A tell tale is the slime associated with it, which basically chokes out the root.
New growth, for the most part, looks goods which is a positive in this situation. They can easily recover, but cleaning as much of the algae out of the system as you...
They actually don't look too bad (yet). I would try and dip them first.
Did you clean the rec etc?
You can always cut roots, obviously this is less "risky" when they have a strong root system as opposed to tap root plus a few pokers. I would try a good dip first. Any cutting will cause some...
Being that TDS is measured in ppm, would the "other" number not be the EC? it seems it may just be in ms/cm not micro/cm. So the EC in this case would be like 1000 measured as micro/cm or 1.0 as ms/cm
Actually, after re-reading the first post, I am not even sure what your question is about. If I am reading it right, you should be taking EC from the res, not "feeds". I may be completely misunderstanding your question.
