I recently stumbled on this but not sure about it yet, seems interesting:

That's not going to perform as well or as efficiently as a high pressure system. It sounds like you are affiliated with the stinkcrew or something but you're mistaken that they are providing the benefits of real aeroponics. Squirting water through tubes with a pond pump is NOT high pressure...
it depends on if the % of heat loss is worth the extra cost, bulk, inflexibility etc...if you've got good ventilation and cooling this isn't so important. then again, every little bit helps
this looks like a hella long sativa! leaves look sativa, plant height and nodes look sativa. maybe really really hella long like 100 day long sativa? and how close are the lights to it?
if you have one 1000watt, 12 plants with little or no veg (sog) will produce about the same as 6 plants would if you vegged them up some (scrog). in other words, it has more to do w having a full canopy and not so much the number of plants.
you don't need much of a pump if you're doing nft. maybe a 250gph so it doesn't go too slow...or slow is good too for nft so maybe a 150gph? if you do the drains like the aeroflow, you can also ebb and flow with it. as far as nutes go i always use 1/2 strength of what the bottle says. i learned...
