My MAIN reason is the 10 gallons are too damn bulky and with the 5 gallons you set your air stone right in the middle and the bubbles have no where to go but the immediate roots.

Ive done 10's of grows in homedepot and lowes buckets and never had a single problem, actually worked great. Now im using the 10 gallon buckets and they just are too much to move around and change locations, water ect...Back to the 5 gallon buckets next run but im curious as to all this water...

Ive had amazing luck with my friends the lady bugs and has not had any effect on my plants besides muchin on those bastards. They just hang out in the dark then when my light comes on they are romin all over the place lookin for them...then they just either die off or leave when they've done...
