After 64 hours of drying main main cola now weighs 50 grams. It is still drying of course but I have noticed the drying weight vs how much time drying has slowed down a bit. I think in a couple days it will be ready to start curing it in glass jars.

Harvested the main cola at 69 days today. After trimming, the wet weight of the main cola was 110 grams. What do you guys think?

Thanks. She's getting close. It smells great! The smell is spicy like sweet peppers mixed with a floral and grape-fruity skunky smell.

My plant is smelling wonderful and her autumn colors are starting to show. I am thinking of chopping the main cola at day 70.

Then again, maybe that % amber ratio of 30% is a better indicator of when as a whole the sativa is ready to chop. What do you think?

Thanks Doc. All of my fan leaves are yellow now and I am keeping an eye on my tricomes with a 20X scope. Right now they are all mostly cloudy give or take a few clear and the rare amber tricome.

Thanks man. This is a good read. However I don't know if a sativa dominate hybrid like my Kali Mist should go until it is 30% amber. I think that is a bit too long IMO. I like strong sativas because they are active and very cerebral with minimal couch lock. I thought this type of active high...

It has three branches per node instead of the normal two branches per node. So in this case the mutation is good!

Well I decided to cut another one of my branches off today. This branch is about average of in size compared to all of my other branches. It weighed over 23 grams right after the chop and over 19 grams a few hours after trimming. It is super sticky and I have a nice little ball of hash built up...

Yeah that is a good plan harvesting in segments. It may be a good idea to chop one of the larger main branches that looks most done so that I can do a better compare. I guess I am most concerned about when to chop my main cola.
