Soil is always a great starting point, but If I could go back and do my first grow again, I would do them in Hempy buckets. They grow SOOOOO much more vigorously and flushing is easy. Check out the threads on this site for Hempy Buckets, they are easy and awesome.

You will not achieve 1 gram a watt. That is an EPIC grow when you can achieve that, with EVERYTHING going perfect. Half a gram a watt is more normal for an average grow to achieve. You can safely bet you can produce .5 grams/watt.

You should never underwater if you are watering correctly. Everytime you water, you should have about 10% of what you pour in come out the bottom of the pot. That is, you should overwater by 10% at least. Then you should let the soil dry out before your next watering.

You want to harvest when the Tricomes are all cloudy. Looks like you are VERY close to harvesting, if not right at its door. I would either flush if you havent done that already, or stop watering it and harvest at your goal date.
