You could just clone the plants, then flower the clones, then you'd know which plants were male/female. Hope this helps.

Do you mean the are equivalent to 100w incandescents? Or is each cfl really 100 watts each?

In the video "I grow chronic by Mr. Green" He grows over 1/4 pound from 4 plants under a 400 watt HPS. Hope this helps

Thanks, I plan on using CFLs for growing only. For flowering I'm going to look into buying a HPS light. I still have a lot of research to do.
