    Activated Carbon/Charcoal

Maybe a little, but not much. You must pull/push air through it.

how does she look guys 1 week flowering

just do what dime says, he is right. CO2 won't help. You won't get more than a few grams at this rate.

Get a carbon furnace filter and run the fan for a few hours. Accumulair makes them in just about every size.

DIY LED Panel: Sourcing 60 and 90 Degree LED Chips

I use GD+ with great success. They have 170 degree viewing angles so they are ideal for smaller environments. You can get within an inch without burning the tops, although they do burn. 3-4 inches is ideal. The cheap mpcbs don't have good thermal transfer to the heatsink. I'd find the Bergquist...

is the food we eat the reason for sickness

Uh huh. This is a pet peeve of mine. Have you seen how many "cancer treatment centers" are popping up? They are state-of-the-art facilities, their sole purpose being to sell you the latest/greatest/most expensive chemo drugs. There is plenty of money in raising money for cancer too. Breast...

This popped up 1 month ago

Well the plant is gorgeous. If you want yield, get a hps. Those fluorescents will work but the penetration is crap. That's what she said. Next you'll need a carbon filter so your neighbors down the block don't smell it.

    Little LED grow experiment

Nice job here, love the box!. They are stunted because of slight overwatering. Definitely let those pots dry out.

    LEDs for summer

I've seen good results with Advanced LED lights. A guy who is a breeder on another forum grows very successfully with them. They use bridgelux LEDs I believe. They are not cheap, but not nearly the $$$ of the high end units.

    led diy set up

Those Meanwells are rock solid. They do get a bit hot to the touch (~110F) so keep that in mind if you have a small grow area.

Super easy DIY LED micro grow light

Hi guys, just noticed that RapidLED is carrying 660nm reds mounted on a star. They have really good solderless kits. Also Mouser has the Golden Dragon W5AM 645nm which could be easily substituted for the 660s.

Can someone direct me to where i can get a DIY LED kit?

Just grab a heatsink off eBay, some Osram Golden Dragons, a few tools and you're good to go. I wrote a guide that's totally for noobs (see my sig)... if you can't handle some basic electrical concepts and simple soldering, DIY may be too much.

What led is best value for small grow

Generally name brand LEDs have a higher efficiency than no-name. Also check the datasheets for how bright they are at a given current.

is this new growth or has my girl turned on me....

That pic looks like a poly-something bud (can't remember the name) but it's genetic. Looks cool though! FYI I once had a stress hermie a few weeks into flower and used Reverse pretty successfully. The male flowers never came back but ended up with a dozen seeds and lots of immature ones.

Rawn Pawl is not a libertarian. He is a fascist vanguard.

Your name calling and language give you away. unless "butthurt" is the new way to win an argument on the Internet. Ron Paul was in Congress speaking out against your Iraq war long before Obama was a politician, and probably long before you knew what a libertarian was. Unlike Obama, he doesn't...

    PlantsAreNeat: My First Grow (micro)

You'll need to factor in your carbon scrubber, which will slow airflow quite a bit, raising temps. I'd recommend finding pc fans with good static pressure for this reason (Noctua, Scythe). Cannabis STINKS in flower so not having a good one kind of defeats the purpose of it in the first place...

    PlantsAreNeat: My First Grow (micro)

The right PC setup can yield, but it will take a few runs to get it dialed in. My reason for using one is complete stealth. I can easily pull an ounce or more, however I use a 40 watt homemade led light which is cooler and more efficient than cfl. Controlling temps (enough airflow) with proper...
