I used 6 23w cfls for the first two months, then upgraded into LED lights to finish them off. The led light gave off true 150w instead of the advertised 180w.

The plant was roughly 40cm tall (estimate, never measured it). I used a 5 gallon pot.

Hey guys, I have just chopped my plant, and was wondering how I did on the trimming. Did I trim too much? Too little? Or just right?

Alright guys, I have bought a jewellers loupe today for about 20 bucks. Checked the trichomes and man was it good. A rough estimate of 90% milky, 8% clear, and 2% amber.

Was wondering if I can just judge the trichs by eye. The majority of the leaves have a orangey tinge to it.

I think i'm going to listen to you bud. I checked out the lower buds, and they just aren't as ready yet. I am planning on 2 days more of light, than 24 hours of darkness before harvest.

I've been reading a lot of 24-48 hours of darkness before harvest. I'm not too sure whether I should chop now, or give it that darkness period?

Unfortunately, my camera DOES have the mode specifically for taking pictures of flowers. However, When I try to zoom in, the quality just becomes blurred. So I can never get a clear shot of the trichomes. :(

Alright guys! Its been a long time since I've last updated. This morning I took these pictures, and I believe today is the day to harvest. They seem to be done with a little white hairs left, but the majority of it is brown and is curling inwards :D What do you guys think? Today, tomorrow.... when?

Majority of it are brown, with maybe 1-4 little white hairs still. It's all shrivelling inwards towards the bud. As I do not have a 30x microscope or 60-100x, I cannot check the trichomes. May RIU help me confirm whether it is ready ?

Thanks, I'll try and figure that out. Last time I used the 30x on my camera, it reduced the quality of the image and I couldnt really see anything lol.
