No not really, coco drains pretty fast and can only hold so much water as long as you don't keep it completely soaked its ok for it to be slightly moist when you water it again.

Have you checked the humidity? Since you're growing the exact same way as you did before, I don't think it is the nutes because previously you grew a good crop using the same amount and type of nutes, right?
