what I did was when I dug my hole in the spring.. I placed a 2 gallon jug(with a lot of holes thru it..xcept for the bottom inch ) in the hole 2 ft down .. ran a pipe to the surface. attached a hose and clamped it onto a cut 2 ltr pop bottle. I used the fishpond water that is nearby.
