I keep the fridge in the cold cellar in the unfinished part of my basement where the environment is always cold and dry all year round. Most of the time the sealed/unsealed seedpacks are kept in the dark. In the beginning I monitored the temp/humidity conditions ~ every 12 hrs for 2 months...
