Just a quick update to say I've topped the tallest one. It was nearly 2 ft. Luckily the plants seem to be ok growing less than a ft away from the lamp without burning, although they are drinking a lot. The tops are green and healthy so I'm happy. Should be a good little yield experiment...

Yeah man get those cfls closer, they don't get too hot, and you're soil looks really saturated mate. Be careful not too over water (voice of experience!). Good luck!
