Did you solve your problem? I had a similar problem until I started topping off with tap water and adding an algaecide initially upon res change

I use a conditioner too when putting in the tetra stuff. I read somewhere a guy killed his plants with tetra but I'm assuming he didn't read the directions. What you add seems like an inconsequential amount, but works. I've heard good things about pondzyme

Started the seeds on the 4th of March.. took about 4 days to pop. I'm using a DWC with netpots. lights are 4 3ft. t5's. no nutes, just about 2 gallons of water bubbling an inch or inch.5 below the net pots. PH is pretty stable at 5.9. the net pot thing is tore up because i didn't want to hurt...
