i was thinking about ducting air conditioning from a spot cooler like the one in the link below through an air-cooled light. if you have the ac unit outside the grow tent and leave the exhaust from the light open you'll have cool air blowing into the tent as well as over the light...

conceptually similar to panheads setup, but utilizing the ducting capabilities of air-coolded hoods.

i was thinking that if you ducted the air conditioner into the intake of an air-cooled light (i.e. cooltube or other) and left the exhaust port on the reflector open you'd have cold air blowing over your light and into the grow space (grow tent). how does that sound?

thats what i was affraid of password. but i have seen setups that blow ac directly at lamps so if what i'm proposing is possible you could have a light/ac combo. no more burned leaves and temp/humidity control in 1 unit. 2 birds with 1 STONE!
