    The UK Growers Thread!

I often wonder things like this. I'd say you could, I am not sure what the build up of the other chemicals in soda might cause though :P

Likely to be the water in that case man. The other thing that can be a sneaker/ producer of random issues is citric acid as a PH down. Fine in an organic set up, it doesn't work so well in hydro. I was using it as a ph down for a long time there, not thinking it was causing issues. Apparently it...

    The UK Growers Thread!

I havent read any of the replies yet mate so someone may have already answered this, but I was watching a video yesterday on electrodes, and they were putting a current through ham, and it was making it see through. I wonder is your probe doing something similar where its creating a small...

    The UK Growers Thread!

I think 1985 was the year the greenhouse coffeeshop first opened, though I have a feeling it was called something else. Definitely a stretch as the seed bank was one of the first, where half of the breeders we know of started back in the 80s and early 90s. Good lick with the blueberry though...

Assuming you're running LED if the garage isnt warming up, you wouldn't go HPS instead for the extra heat?

    Why?

As the others have said, looks like major overwatering to me. Need more details though

    The UK Growers Thread!

Certainly not me @coreywebster, pretty proud of it. And it all started from a BBC documentary on weed, where a few of us UK growers were chatting about the documentary and we said someone really should make a UK growers thread!

    The UK Growers Thread!

Hey man, people answered this for you, but teach a man to fish and all that jazz so I just want to break it down, took me a while to get it but now I do it saves a lot of time and some electricity companies are killer- they'll give you a better unit price but charge way more for the standing...

I am liking my led, went for the migro 250w last year and I haven't regretted it. Not sure if you're familiar with mass medical strains, but he is often pushing MH now. Think I'll do another grow or two with my leds and try MH just to see if they're any different. Electricity really isn't that...

Curious too, is everyone using LEDs these days, or are people still using HID? Fish scale sounds interesting, not tried it myself. How do you find Ethos' gear Liamp, worth the money?

    Great Lakes Genetics ?

Just received my GLG order there, cannot recommend them enough. I am based in Europe, and whilst it definitely took a while, it was perfect. Stealth shipping was 10/10. I would highly rate GLG, especially with the freebies too!

Haha I'm not man, at the time I made this thread I was in Ireland, I've seen prices go up to as much as 600 during covid, but its calmed down a bit now. Fortunately I haven't seen sprayed stuff for absolutely ages now.

One of my new seeds directly soaked at the bottom of the glass of water, bad seed or?First time growing so Im just curious

Ah yeah that is a tricky situation to be honest. Planting anything in college to be honest is something I'd say well away from personally. One thing that I've done before though is cut the top off of a plastic bottle and place that over the seed, so it acts a bit like a greenhouse. It'll...

Totally understandable man, you have to start from somewhere. The first seed I planted was a bag seed, but thought the taproot was the stalk, and ended up planting it upside down :eyesmoke: needless to say it died very quickly lol

You're all good man, some seeds float, some seeds sink. In the future though, I'd wait to bump the post longer than 12 mins :weed:

Seed won’t break seed case, using paper towel

Hey man, it's so interesting reading about how people germ their seeds. I've always used paper towel, I've never soaked the seeds beforehand. To me, it looks like your paper towels were way too wet and the tap root has rotted. It did germ, but it was too wet for the seed. If you do try the paper...
