I am using 600 watt MH for my Buddha assorted autos, Initially I kept the ballast on 100% and only 14 inches from the glass....of course they were baked. posted a few threads and found that you should keep the light 2 to 3 feet from the top of the sprout and keep the ballast lower (50%-75%)...

I was thinking the light is a bit close also. raised it to 20 inches. please give your opinions. will post more pictures soon.

thank you for the quick reply. I have two others started that ive used much less water that was aerated by a pump. I shall see where those get, so far no discoloration and much less purple in the stem. Does anyone have an opinion on the assorted auto package from Buddah seeds?? maybe they're bunk:?:
