the sun puts out 50ooo Lums per sq meter (on an avg clear day) 1 sq meter = 10.76 sq feet = 4646 Lums per sq foot you can veg w less but to flower you need to hit at least 30ooo Lums sq meter (2788 sq foot) you can go more than 50ooo L sq M, but i read approaching 90ooo L sq M is damaging/fatal...

i have lil experiance w LED lights (i do have a blue panel on my veg bench and the plants seem to luv it) but ive heard those UFOs are good to go, focused spectrums w lil heat (no ducting needed)

you can go all red, but you will have better results (worth the effort/cost) if you throw in a couple blues, the plants are gonna be wanting more light so giving em full spectrum will help alot for CFL's your gonna need to keep the bulbs very close to the plants, your starting plan to have 6 at...
