I understand what you're saying but what if there is one of the colors it doesn't like or take well too.. you could possibly take that color out... I totally understand what your saying and I know in order to have color, it needs to be absorbed into the object through light.... what I'm saying...

yeah, but if your using hps or soft white fluorescent for flowering it only emits a certain spectrum and lays more heavily on the reds and oranges which the plants love during flowering. So what if you were to use a blue or something to take out all the colors the plants dont like during...

the point is to try to emit different colors on the plant... possibly stimulating it a different way.. you could even try using single colors to see how the weed reacts to different colors. It could possibly tint the bud or make the plant produce more thc/cbd or a series of other things...

How bout this? using a highly reflective material (95%) with a mix of all the colors of the spectrum made into a hood. (they do sell extremely reflective colored sheets in every color) you could cut each colored peice into long thin strips and connect them all making a colorful hood...

how do i mix in cbd lol or is that a figure of speech? I know smell doesn't mean everything but lets face it, getting a sack of beasters or mids, smell nothing as pungent and potent as its superiors...

I have multiple plants going and each obviously smell differently but two have significant skunk smell and the others are sweet/skunk. (Not sure on exact strains but pretty sure they are all indica) Even touching a leaf makes your fingers stink... Is this at all directly related to how potent/...

so what about tinting it a blue color or something to take away any color it doesnt like during flowering?

got any suggestions on a color to try on one of them? I would want a lighter color I'm guessing... they literally sell every color online and you can get it where it is just about as reflective as mylar cuz you can see your reflection like a mirror...

haha good reference... i meant foil as a general term. I use a 95% reflective bubble material from the hardware store at the moment.. but it is like a foil idk how to explain it.. kept it cheap

So are you saying possibly get a mix of a red and blue reflective material?

and like i said i have the correct lighting. I have adequate tube florescents with correct 2700 k bulbbs with a small silver reflective hood so it would be getting the full spectrum off of that. I'm saying possibly using the colored reflective material around the sides of that while still...

what about something like a really light color? like a light blue or gold? I cant find any answers on google for it... there has to be some effect on the plant with different colors....
