The buds curing in jars smell musty and dirt-like. Does the musty smell mean mold? When jarring, I noticed a couple of buds that had white mold on them and threw them out. The rest of the buds look fine, they just smell like a dirt clod.

I'll have an additional week after harvest to let them dry before jarring them. Any good tutorial that you like for doing this right?

Got an NL+AF that is 13 weeks old. I thought it would definitely be ready to harvest by now, but even though the buds are pretty bulked up, very few of the trichomes are amber. Tried a sample this week and it gave me too much "up" and little body effect (which I really am after). Due to life...

Is it ready? She's 9 weeks NL + AF. The sugar leaves are starting to brown, and the trichomes are mostly cloudy, but no amber ones.

I dunno how much time is left. A small portion of the pistils are starting to brown, though.

Good to know...I thought they might not be getting enough N since the leaves are yellowing and falling off. Still a noob I guess :) Watering with nutes 2x/week and without nutes 1x/week. The runoff pH is 5.6-5.7. Are there some go-to cal/mag/micro supplements?

I hope it's not mites! I examined a few leaves under a 60x lens and didn't see any bugs. Flushed it with 2 gal of pH'd water and will cut back on the N.

Should I be worried about the curling of the new growth? She's a 4.5 week-old NL+autoflower that started pre-flower last week, and has been given 3 tsp/gal Big Bloom + 2 tsp/gal Grow Big @ pH 5.5 twice a week lately. The leaves started to twist around just this week.

Looks great bulastoner. This one is Nirvana NL + autofem. It looks small, but the leaves are really densely packed. I hope I can get her to open up somehow.

Thanks for the responses. I also thought it looked overwatered last week and didn't water it AT ALL. The coco coir was dry as far down as I could dig my fingers, but the leaves were still curled down. Does it need much longer than a week without water?

First time, so don't know what to expect. This is NL + autoflower. Does it look like it is growing well? It's under 3 42W CFLs. 2 are 6500k and 1 is 2700k.

Thanks for the replies. The pH meter is a handheld one, very recently calibrated with buffers at pH 4 and pH 7. It's accurate. Can I just continue to flush it with water at pH 4 for a while and hope it comes down?

For autoflowering strains, do I need to switch from my current 6500k 42W CFLs to a lower temp like 2700k? If so, when? Right now, the plant has 2 of the 6500k 42W CFLs, and it's at day 17.
