the end of this grow is coming soon. i cut three or four more branches a few days ago. There's a lot more to cut but I'm waiting for more amber. I'll update soon. :peace:

the trichs are getting cloudy

thanks for the feedback, glad to see someone from the midwest. i spent a lot of time out in that area. yes, i just can't wait too much longer for some reason. i'm going to try to wait until there is more amber, maybe a week. i'll keep you all posted - ttyl and keep growing... :blsmoke:

Well, this week I cut another three branches on the nl plants because the leaves were getting very yellow. I'm getting really very anxious to cut and will probably do this soon. I have some other considerations and I don't want any problems, if you know what I mean. I'll take some pics...

thanks plantsinpants, yes, I used a 400 w hps lamp, then added some cfls to the sides. its a lot of fun, and i learned so much. as they were slow to show flowers, they are slow to ripen, but it will be well worth the wait.

well, these girls still don't seem ready for the cut. I took these today, maybe another week? we'll see... don't want to keep making the mistake of harvesting too early. have a nice sunny sunday.:mrgreen:

thanks, this is the most exciting stage of the grow, anticipationbongsmilie today i put some ties on the plants to keep them close to the light, just supported them with twist ties from the top. the growtent i purchased is very handy for attaching things, i like it. i'll post pics...

i noticed today, the buds shrunk a lot since cutting them yesterday. i trimmed the leaves off, there were'nt too many. Kind of interesting that the runt was the quickest to ripen. i'll take some photos over the weekend. the rest of the plants are leaning more now, may have to do some...

oh, those are just the little buds from the bottom of plant, just thought I'd start pruning. i guess i should trim the leaves off, according to the post on harvesting, i'll have to do that later. oh, and here's another update. started the harvest, i'm doing it gradually. I still have a lot...

well, here is a couple of pics of the drying apparatus I built plus some pics of the nl#5xhaze plants I took today. I checked the trichs and they're getting cloudy, so it shouldn't be much longer now...:bigjoint:

I'm trying to wait until they are ready. I haven't done the best with the heat and inexperience. I'm getting real anxious to cut though:fire:. I'll be good and wait. I flooded them out yesterday, and had to mop the grow tent today. My next grow is going to be FABULOUS. I've learned so much...

I think they are getting close, but I'm not cutting them until I'm sure. :weed:

I think you're right davey, I chopped the brainstorm too soon maybe. what an ignorant thing to do. Oh well, chalk it up to experience. I'm not doing that with the nl5xhaze, they are really getting big. They are getting heavy too and falling down. I'll definitely keep them going for another...
