Ever seen the movie teeth?

So is it true that the tip of the bud has more thc rather then the rest of the bud? Or is this a rumor?

So me and my uncle are sitting here smoking and talking, well were stuck on a topic. I have heard by many different growers that the tip of the buds have the most thc in the plant and will get you higher. He thinks otherwise. Can someone please tell me if I'm wrong or if I'm right? Thanks! :3
