I have had a total of 3 400W Digital Greenhouse ballasts so far. They all make the "buzzing" noise. No it isn't the fan, you can hear that too, but it isn't as bad as the droning buzz that it makes. I won't really flame HTG, they started out with superior service, but as the issue progressed...

I could deal with the fan (mostly-quiet), it's the buzz (not fan) that it is making. :(

You know.. Maybe I am expecting too much.. The replacement ballast came today, and it has the SAME freaking buzz.. Am I wrong to think I should only be hearing the cooling fan? As soon as it has the lamp plugged in, it starts to buzz.. WTF..

Naw they are sending a new one, with a return airbill for the old. Part for Part. They are going to take care of the RMA to the vendor.
