Much oblige! I've never hit the .5 g/w ratio before and have only grown with a 600w but I think that was due to my style and low plant count. Never used the screen before but if it works anything like the pictures it should do wonders for my yield. Thanks again

It's an Advance ballast and yes it's grounded. Overheating sounds possible since after about 5 mins I can turn it back on but I just don't see it overheating that quickly. I'll check the grounds again. Any chance it could be the bulb? It's new but I had it hooked up to a 250w lumatek...

Hi. I just bought a new 250w MH ballast, wired it up and it works fine except that after about a minute the bulb just shuts off even though the ballast is hummin' away. Anyone know what the problem could be?
