Some of Reserva Privadas Kandy Kush in a slightly modified Supersoil mix. Compost tea and water only.
Kandy Kush 30 days into veg.
A gorgeous bouquet my girlfriend made for the coffee table. Makes the whole living room smell like sweet lemon funk.
I know you're busy Sub, but if you see this I'd appreciate your opinion...As well as anyone else that would like to chime in :-P.
My last batch of SS I used 6 bags of Roots, and 2 bags of BioBizz Light-mix. My shop doesn't carry BioBizz soils anymore. (It's cost prohibitive to mail bags of...
I agree there will always be a demand for top shelf cannabis, and these massive operations will more then likely produce a mediocre product. I also agree that properly done well built organic soil is the best, without question. I'm just thinking about the scales of economy here. If we have four...
I agree, but it's still going to drastically change the supply/demand curve. It'll most likely drop wholesale prices across the board...Good for the end consumer, bad for us, the small scale growers.
Unfortunately no, sorry. :-(
I would do it again and document it, but I've since switched to building my own soil SubCool style, which is a highly amended 100% organic soil. His proven recipe provides everything the plant needs from beginning to end, no need to apply fertilizer EVER. Just plain...
I too appreciate the effort, but the key to any controlled and accurate scientific test is 100% consistency with the only variable being the one tested, IE: The soil.
When there is more then one variable in a controlled test the results are erroneous. Period.
I've started from seed many...
Thanks man, I appreciate that.
That pic is my flower room where I'm running 3 aircooled 600's on a light mover over a 4x8 tray. I like to weld/fabricate so I built the frame for the light mover myself out of 1" square tube, with 3/4" square tube inside with a hole drilled every inch for height...
Hey guys, this is my first run of Bubba. 100% organic in amended Roots Organics soil.
This pic is day 27 of veg, and they're about 18" tall and 16" wide. I just flipped um to 12/12 and I'm wondering how much stretch I should be expecting, as well as an average yield per plant.
Thanks
Word. I'm about halfway through Teaming with Microbes. I can already tell it's going to be one of those books you read 3 or 4 times, and then go back and reference from time to time. Thanks again for the recommendation!
I can't speak for every catalytic carbon system, but generally not.
I have a "Hydrologic Tall-Boy" filter:

My local grow shop arranged with the manufacturer to replace the standard carbon filter with a...
Hey Sub,
Do you have any thoughts on watering with an aerated compost tea like Humtea? Do you think the microherd of beneficial bacteria(s) would compliment super soil, or do you think its a waste?
Thanks for your time and all the great info so far Sub, it's greatly appreciated.
Ray
I would have to respectfully disagree.
It's been my experience if your top priority is quality, IE: terpene production, bouquet, smell, taste, etc Chemicals don't even come close to organics, regardless of growing medium.
This may have been previously addressed, but the technique only works if the opposing internodes are directly across from each other. What can you do if the bottom nodes on the clones are staggered?
Thanks
