cool! thank you ghost bud. the simplicity of that makes me very happy, fuck yeah ;) i've done that now just using normal tap water (can't be too pedantic.. tap water should do the trick) placed the baggie at the back of my imac to keep it warm too!

Starting my germination now using this method. Has anything changed since 2009 or is this still a good way to go about it? :)

That sounds cool. I might try that. May as well try and utilize any usefulness out of these bulbs. They kept arriving broken and it's been frustrating getting them all in one piece. I'd use both at once if I had two ballasts.

Because I have both types of bulbs i'll be using the one which is best suited to it's particular stage of development. I think both are important here :)
