Trying to solve a cooling problem! I'd appreciate any help...

I'm actually a hvacr tech for a living and just by adding a larger AC might or might not solve your problems. By adding a larger AC you are just adding more cooling capacity to the room so the AC might cool the room faster but cycle on and off even more because you only want the room so cold...

Trying to solve a cooling problem! I'd appreciate any help...

If I where you I'd run a 6 inch duct fan for each light, your loosing a lot of cfm in the y section and also keeping the air to cool your lights seprate from the air in your grow room helps a lot too. Also are you just using the AC air as an intake? Do you have passive air intakes?

    Is this caused by heat?

Cool man thanks for the info! Was thinking it was related to stress or something. Any chance that could be fan related as in to much air flow? Thought that was more associated with twisting but just wondering?

Calling EVERYONE to help me design BADASSS room!

I basicly copied this for way cheaper and added a/c. I'm currently growing out of it. I'm a certified HVACR technician and have built many grow rooms/boxes these are cool just can't see spending $6400 on one.

Calling EVERYONE to help me design BADASSS room!

. Wasn't being rude. Your talking about pulling 1-2 lbs with 2 plants in 2 months when you would have to veg for at least a month to even get close to that if it where even possible at all under your conditions you listed above. Then in your next post you said something about vegging for...

    New Grower

Ya that seems to be the way things go when building a custom box lol. I'm using a 400w and my temps inside the flower box get to 86 with ambient temp being 73deg so I insulated the inside to keep the cold air around longer in the box. Might install a small 3" axial fan at the top just to suck...

How to vent outside stealth dryer vent

Exhaust threw the roof of your closet into your attic. Keep the 6" circle you cut out and use it to patch the hole when your done that's what I did. I also had a window AC unit mounted in the attic with a supply vent coming in as well to cool the whole inside of the closet.

    Major AC Problems Man

I'm a certified a/c tech where you located? You also need returns like mentioned earlier, something to actually remove the heat out of your room not just mix cool air in. Also maybe install the thermostat inside the rooms so he AC is being turned on and off by the room temps.

    Diy a/c cooled grow box

Here are a few attached pics of my newly built grow box. It is a/c controlled with an etc and has only two power cords, one for the a/c side and one for the lights/fan side of the box. The a/c unit plugs right into the top of the box and power to that socket is controlled by the electronic...
