I've been told that when growing cannabis, the first grow is shitty. Is this true, and if so, does it apply to hydro? And is hydro supposed to be better because it gets more oxygen from the water?

let them ripen or you can sample it by only drying a small ammount to see if its ready

If you clone the plant you can then flower the clone early and discover if its a she, because the clone is a replica of the plant.

This is true I believe. Just from reading up on these forums I've heard that you might have to make sure the root isn't growing sideways or some shit. Just don't waste good seeds on your first grows...but you have to start somewhere.

Im a noob grower but what I know is that the age of the mother plant is equal to that of the clones. Not sure about the Dr. Node nutes...but probably.

You don't NEED ph down, but you need a ph tester. make sure your water ph level is where it should be. There's a lotta info on that in these forums... and it's different for hydro and soil.
