    I meant that CPUs are not running at full load 24/7. Idle power consumption is more like 30W i think. Also fans in servers are pushing through much more fresh air than my ~50cfm case fan.

    Greengenes707, thanks a lot! voltage limit should not be a problem, as it's below 71 only when driver's fully dimmed to 700ma, i'll won't drive them that low. But i think I'll buy 1 more 2540 if the 1st won't have any cooling issues on 1400ma
