I Just got my shipment from Jerry @Kingbrite. Still waiting on the heatsinks so i started building a movable light fixture in the 4.5`x5.5`closet im using. I also put together a scrog net to cover the room. If I have time ill put pics up today.

Are mecha tronix heatsinks worth buying?

Update: So, due to lack of product and my lack of patience i have ordered 16cxb3590s. 4 of the 16 are 3500k, the other 12 will be 3000k. Hopefully it will all be here next week.

Can someone give a complete tools and materials list? I have never done this before so i have none of the necessities. I will not be tapping into the heatsink. Thanks in advance , i just want to be ready when all the parts arrive.

Are the dimming capabilities the same?

Okay so I just paid for (16)cxb3590s cobs (4)MW Hlg c1400A drivers ... I didn't realise I got c1400A drivers till just now. Will this be a problem in terms of a dimming feature? Bout to order heatsinks now. Any professional suggestions would be greatly appreciated :)

Okay based on what i have found courtesy supraspl‘s post on another thread my ppfd would be about 1121 ppfd. I could be wrong. Help? Lol

I used info from growmau5 video that said 56w per cob. Now i did the math using the formula he gave which is Ohms law and you are correct. 49w per cob. Thank you. May i ask what formula you used to find ppfd?

I am currently using roots organic in 7 gal smart pots. All plants have been topped twice and i have pruned the bottom 1/3s of them. No deficiency signs other than slight nute burn after i water them sometimes. I experimented with supercropping on 1 plant and i am waiting to see how she recovers...

I Will order as soon as jerry sends the invoice. Im pretty excited, this growing bud is way more addicting then smoking it lol. 16cxb3590 @ 1050mA just to get started. There is no way to power all 16 evenly with the same ppfd?
