    Hi. If I were you I would transplant it into bigger pot and also raise the lights power. The 150 watts is too low for growing. I will grow it very long time using this lights.

    I don't have many experience but allow yourself to say that hydroponics is hard to grow, there is can be many ways for problems. In you case I would change top part as you told.
