Some CXB 2530 samples exist in-house somewhere... Might be able to rig those guys up. Just the COB though, not the nice plastic holder that goes to them...

Cooling is passive, with a rather large heatsink on the back, the driver and electronics are separated from the COB and heatsink by about a foot of cable. Also of note, the only real COB based light that available to me atm uses the Vero 18, which may still be worth trying out?

So, I may have access to some lights built with these COB's (need to check with engineers at work) although they are not purpose built as "grow lights". Do you think it would be worth it to take a stab at rigging up a tent with these if I can get my hands on them? Also, maybe there is a better...
