Still nothing going to start over once my Thai basil is done

I have never grown except throwing a seed in the dirt before. Do I put nutrients in the same day I plant or wait two weeks?

Just signed up, read some things in some forums that peeked my interest and I'm starting my first ever grow with an AeroGarden ultra led. Wish me luck and all advice welcome
