Well, after more than 2 weeks I still dont get ANY answer from manufacturer of this UPS. I am just not gonna use it and let the lamp turn off/on when power drops, hopefully it wont damage the HPS badly. Thanks for everyones input, admin can close this post!

Thank you for your answer but what I dont understand is how does it take 900W when the lamp is rated 250w? I asked some electricians and they say it should peak at 1-2kw at start and in no more than a minute fall to a maximum of 350-400w. Guidance, Demijan
