    The UK Growers Thread!

Don't know if anyone has tried to buy NON-PGR weed in the UK lately but in the North, it is nearly impossible. Hard as rock brown awful stuff, I don't know how people smoke it. They even have the gall to call it Cali Weed. £120 an oz, I wouldn't have it for free.

I have used most and they have all been OK. I now use Attitude or Pure Sativa, they seem to have the best genetics available here in the UK.

Do you reduce Co2 last few weeks??

I have just ordered some "fresher for longer bags" Apparently they keep fruit and veg fresher for longer to prevent ripening. I will let you know if they work when I get them. The paragraph below was on the Fresh Bags advertising page which got me thinking should we or should not stop/reduce...

    Compound genetics

I just bought their Candy Packz I will let you know how it gets along. Off to a good start the pack was supposed to contain 7 seeds but it had 8 in. Maybe a mistake or just a good gesture who knows? Very posh packaging.

Placing of seeds in soil/coco correctly

I stole this from another website it makes sense. "I did a little experiment with sprouting cucumber seeds in soil blocks. In the left half of the tray, I put the radical (root side) down and on the right side I put the radical (root side) up. For a long time now, I have noticed that old weak...

At the moment am using a small 800w Bio Green gas burner outside of the room pulled in through ducting. It is very much DIY. I have a 10" fan set at 25% pulling out just to keep the smell going through a filter. The problem is I have to switch it on manually every day. I also have another...

Thanks for all your help coreywebster. I googled the rent-free near me and found a supplier albeit about 50 miles away for a 34kg bottle a bit closer for a Hollywell 17 kg. They even advertise them for hydroponic use.

Hello, I currently use a gas burner to increase my CO2 but thinking of changing to bottled CO2. Based in North UK 1. What type of Co2 gas bottles (welders, pub gas ??) do I need and where do I buy them from? 2. What size cylinder do I need 8' x 10' room? And how likely am I going to be able...

    Anesia Seeds Reviews

I've just bought their Frozen Black Cherry and Gelato Dream. Will let you know how they get on. I was a bit put off by their outrageous THC strength claims and every strain looks like a pin-up model in the photographs they show, so we shall see. Some mixed reviews regarding this company.

Not really but it would save on electric and your plants will be happier if the lights are to close due to height restrictions.

Just remember with really powerful lights unless you have the height or high levels of co2 they will spend most of their time running on 75% or less

The first mistake was not buying one of his Spot on Par meters they are expensive but well worth it. I use it all of the time for seedlings clones and as the plants stretch. I have the older type lights with brackets 1500w over a 5’ x10’ grow footprint. I keep the par at around 1,000 at...
