I've done 2 and it worked out great. Just stay on top of the top dressings, they grow fast and get hungry. Tried 3 and it got pretty crowded.

I got mine at Tejas Mary Jane. It's got a big mold (7-10grams) and a smaller one (3-5grams). Just grind up buds and pack it down really hard. Alot easier than fkn around with a bunch of string and a skewer

They always broke or just fell apart on me when it was time to take off the string and remove the dowel from the middle.

The presses aren't very expensive. I tried the Thai stick wrapping and it never really worked for me.

The core is all buds. You press them, coat with oil and wrap the outside with fan leaves.

I have a cannagar press. I've tried wrapping them in fan leaves a couple times. Both times the leaves ended up crispy and cracked easily. Had to wrap them with a blunt wrap to smoke them.

Try calling hydro seasons or green thumb hydroponics (both in south sac). Between the two they have pretty much everything.

I grew out 2 of the purple canyons. 1 of mine was also very airy and larfy. The other was great. Smelled like a bowl of freshly cut strawberries. Cured out to a berry with a bit of gas smell. Real nice smoke. I have another going now, but she's only a couple weeks from seed.

I asked about aerating an em-1 res over on probiotic farmers group on fb. I was told by alan adkisson and a few others (who i don't think ever tried it) that the o2 would kill off all the anaerobic microbes we want. Curious to see how it works out for you.

I use a bamboo skewer. Kind of like a car dipstick for checking oil. It works okay. I believe @Tim Fox made one with a hose and grommet that's alot easier to see when filling up the res.

Purple canyon week 5ish (got sick and didn't write stuff down). Smells just like strawberry fruit snacks.

My order arrived today. I mixed 1 gram with 10 fl oz of olive oil and gave my old girl 3.5 ml on a piece of bread (right around 10mg for a 150lb dog). Too soon to post any results yet. I will let you guys know how well it works.

Thank you for this thread. We were thinking of putting our 11 year old mastiff down because of mobility issues due to arthritis and just old age in general. I ordered some of this today and will report back here on how well it works.
