I run 6x 3000k 288s in my tent and a 4000k 120 over clones. The difference in colour is visually noticeable, but I'd argue that it's a negligible difference in height. If you're growing in a 2 tiered cupboard and height is a serious concern then get 4000k, otherwise get the warmer 3000k.
