Yes they are expensive, i got them directly from osram, and had buy a large quantity to get a good "price" i'm from argentina and i work with a local led factory here.
and what about Osrams osconiq s 3030 3v chips ? they have cri 90 quantum dot thechnology with ultra hich efficacies and standard cri 80 with with bins hitting more that 230 L/w at nominal.
I agree, im working in a new lamp that has duris s8 ( 3000k and 5000 k cri 70 ) and oslon square 660 nm (bin 8 ) and oslon 730 nm .
Less diodes and more power, but needs good dissipation .
I came up with this spectrum using 4000 k and a mix of 630 and 660 . Used 4500 k but the spectrum simulator only had 4000 k . All using osrams square whites and oslons reds .
Really 1.9 umol/j is trash ?? I bet they will grow and yield just fine , maybe with more green like citizen PW horticulture cobs , Wich are 1.7 UMol/j and yields like any warm white cob.
Nice read ! Im building a led module with 16 osrams LEDs , 10 square white 4500 k cri 70 and 3 630 nm and 3 660 nm, not sure if adding 730 nm with to main light with the way to go .
Thank bro for the feedback ! Yes this are short plants in general, I find that some strains grow with branches very close to each other and are harder to train. Genetics are very important !
Thanks bro ! Did some defoliation, but this round was in winter time and did want to overdo, so I went the safe route.
I olso feel the same , see a lot a leaf mass, next round will adjust !
