Cut out a little filter from something like maybe an air conditioner filter and tape it over the air intake on the ballast so it doesn't suck up a bunch of dust. It should make it last longer. Also keep it as cool as possible.

Seeds are supposed to be legal in the USA. But I think if the bank or breeder is selling them for the purpose of growing them then its illegal. Like they have to say "for research only" or something like that.

From what research I've done, if the nodes are really tight like that, that means your lights are too close and you should raise them. Apparently it will stunt your plant and they won't get very tall. Could cause mold too since the foliage would restrict airflow. And a lot of the leaves would...

That's weird cause ive seen so many posts about people having really tiny light leaks in their tent and it hermying the plant or puts it back into veg.

Its ssdd If they're rootbound they might have salt buildup around the inside edges of the pot. I would flush with distilled water a couple times real good especially around the edges if that's the case.
