1.2 x1.2 600watt Hps with primair

Hi guys I've just set up my first tent. Sick of paying stupid prices for even worse bags lol. Thinking of doing 4 plants under 600watt Hps. How long should I veg for under 250watt cfl before I switch to 12/12 and change the light. Looking for around 3oz per plant. Is this do able.

I veg under 250w cfl and flower with a 600. I veg for 6/8 weeks. Of course it will depend on the strain your running and your growing skills, but 3oz is doable. It's also personal preference how long to veg for, and the height of your tent. Most plants will at least double or triple in height when switched to 12/12, so keep that in mind. You should buy yourself a ph pen or test kit, as growing in coco you'll need to be ph'ing everything that goes in to 5.8/5.9. Good luck man, keep us posted

personally i'd only use the cfl for the first 2 weeks and then veg with the 600, better light means better growth, i only use my cfl for seedlings and clones, once their established with some decent roots they'll handle the hps no probs, most hps are dual spectrum so there good for veg and flower, i pull 3oz a plant with around 4-6 weeks veg as closet gardener says get a ph pen.

Thanks dude. The strain is super lemon haze but I got the cutting a week ago and they been under the 250cfl for a week and not much has happened. Could this be bad cuttings or is this the norm
