1.2M by 1.2M Bud Box with 2 600w lights will this work or will there be to much light

I was just thinking of doing a sog in my 1.2m by 1.2 tent with 16 plants on a drip system with 2 600W lights (do you think that will be to much light for that space?)

Normally i only do 8 bigger plants in the tent but i was thinking i could get more yield doing sog in there what do you think.

you'l only need one 600w for that space.:weed: save electricity. :clap:

So having two lights in that space would not improve growing/yield?

if you can fit them try them. id be struggling to fit two 600w in 1.2 m of tent.

and your gonna have to extract all the heat out the tent. if you've already bought the two lights id buy another tent. just my opinion.

and hey if you grow the best bud in the u.k. you should know all this sh#t already man. hehehehe. :peace::joint::mrgreen:

Hahaha well the Bud here is not that grate so it does not take much to grow the best lol.

Ill post some of my White rino photos from my last crop at some point to show you.

Well i have two tents but only room for one with out using the attic space which i do not want to do because so many people are getting busted from heat cams on police hellacopters.

So i was think to put the 2 lights in the one tent (they fit very well) and do a sog but a little bit bigger plants than the normal sog.

I have a two fans and an extraction fan with a phat filter with all of them on i think it will keep the heat down (also it is in a cool room to start with)

Then was going to take the other tent and filter back and buy a smaller cuttings tent propagation light ect. to get a faster turn around.

Really i am asking whether it will yield more having the 2 lights or if it is just a waste of power and i would get the same crop with 1.

You would gain a little growth for sure it's not like you have way too much light already, but the gains would not be enough to make me want to do it if I were in your situation and nothing like the potential double yield you'd get running two grows or one grow twice the size.

I'd consider it very wasteful, but can't say you shouldn't try it if you really have a burning desire.

Thanks man i am thinking about taking the other light back to the shop as well now or just save it till i am living i a bigger house.

(dam i want a huge basement)

Take it back, buy stock in GM and Ford with the money. There's no reason to hold on to it unless it was some super sale you'll never see again.

No it was top of the range so i am going to take it back when my house mate gets back from Poland.

Do you know of any good set ups for cuttings tents i have never set one up before this second grow indoors (grown for many years out doors) and i have never grown cuttings under lights only in propagation boxes in a green house.

Do you need fans and filters when using a propagation light?

I posted a build for a clones stand made out of pvc, including lights, vent fan, and casters, seems like around $100.00 us. A propagation box in a Green house has light, some of us call it the sun.
You will not need a filter, and the fans you will want is dependant on how closed an eviroment you use. The fan i used when I had a closed enviroment cost $5.00 us at wally world. The propagation light don't put out a lot of heat, there made to not burn seedlings and clones, that why they call them propagation lights.
Some of the statements you make leave me with more questions than answers, let me explain. A 600 watt light produces about 95,000 lumens of light, so 2 would use 1200watt and produce 190,000 lumens. A single 1000watt would produce 195,000 lumens. Why would you consider 2-600's?
You talk about growing sog to increase yield, but you want to grow bigger plants.....hhmmmmm. I am thinking you don't understand sog or you don't really want to grow sog, which is it?? VV

I thought about doing it with 2 660w because i have 2 of them.

Yes i know what sog is, when you grow lots of smaller plants with one cola in a small space and i said i am going to do a grow a bit like sog but make the plants a little bigger by topping them to make 4 colas not just the one.

This will not increase production. The only way you will come close to matching it is if you veg them for longer, amd there goes the perpetual sog grow.

No there isn't. If you need a fan under the sun because of the enclosed space you will need it with lights too. If you have enough space and ventilation you might not need anything else.

Your welcome, if I were going to use that one again I would modify it slightly. If you decide to build one let me know, I'll get the parts back out and show you what I would change. VV:mrgreen::blsmoke:
