King,
We can't tell you that. Look at your plant now and picture it doubled. That's where it will be after stretch. If you are running out of room now...you'll probably have to trim twice. Once now and once again after stretch. Do you know how to top a plant? At that point...you may also want to do some defoliation to open the cnter...allowing light to get in.

I've done it, it worked alright, supercropping is probably what I'd suggest though just on experience in similar situations.
Ya I've done it both ways too. If it's in a small tent and lots of branches...and so too cramped for supercropping...you'll have to trim to get more headroom.

But in a roomier environment...supercropping works great. Last run I had a plant that had one cola outgrow the others...so I just folded it in over the rest of the plant. It got better light and solved the canopy problem.

day one wont slow you down enough to care. top it if youd like , or any of the other methods mentioned. no worries. do NOT touch anything after a week or two in. (defoling is a whole subject to read on, it is NOT simply keeping the leaves off to get more light down low) So without reading up on defoliation , dont even touch a leaf unless its dead or dying.
