dont feed it. what kind of soil? why so much perlite on top?
Thats what I'm thinking. The main root is suspended in strait perlite??? Even the most "inert" soilless mixes should hold enough basic nutes to sustain a seedling until a few sets of leaves have developed, without having to feed it.

But a seedling hanging in strait perlite might be completely deficient, and at that early in it's growth, can severely stunt that plant.

That is what first comes to mind when I see that pic.

Your plant looks overwatered.........let the soil/perlite dry between waterings.
You may also have a ph problem, are you testing your water?
And yes I would give 1/4 strenght nutes especialy if thats stright perlite.
DD93....perlite only hempy buckets fukin rock.........check it bro.

Yeah I'm doing 100% perlite hemp, didn't know they were so uncommon. Thanks for all the advice. I think I'll start with my nutes 1/4 dose and work my way up.

so im still wondering if its a watering issue or lack of nutes. since the roots are suspended in the perlite ive been watering about once a days so the roots get some water until the reach the water table at the bottom. when i checked on her this morning she did get a bit taller but also a bit lighter and browning in the leaves. i want to solve this problem and avoid it in the future.
