1 x HLG 650R or 2 x HLG 350R

Just wondering if you had a 5x5 tent and had a choice to use either of the above mentioned in title, which would be better choice? The room tent is in has AC unit installed so will be able to keep room cool all year round(or whenever needed).

I have two HLG 350Rs myself in a 5x5 and I can pull about 2-3 pounds with them. They're great lights, and having two lets you adjust their height differently, and spread them out more than the single board 650R.

That being said, someone I know just got a Scorpion Rspec and that thing is stupid bright compared to my two 350Rs, and the coverage looks great. If you have the spare cash I would buy that instead.

Two lights would provide greater versatility and a “fail safe” factor, losing half your light for whatever reason is better than losing all your light. I run 3 to 4 130w boards in my 2 1/2 x 5 tent.

The Scorpion Diablo would be sweet. But I would personally rather get this ChilLed for a 5x5 if it was me.

The more fixtures the better in case something takes a dive. HLG's are great lights but drivers can fail. Personally I'd buy HLG diy kits so you know how they work and how quickly they can be repaired if something was to die unexpectedly. Good luck hunting!
