1000 watt HPS/MH light system for 250?

The 1000w light will cover a space of 7' x 7' so if your space is 14x14 you will need two lights . How many plants are you growing and what is your height limit? Are you using the same area to flower in?

im using the 14 X 14 for just flowering sea of green. the height of the room is about 8 feet. looking to harvest about 25-30 plants every two weeks... whta do you think

You will need two rooms to harvest every two to three weeks . You will need a room to veg in and a room to flower in. Iwas planning on the same thing except im not going with the sog method. To harvest that much you will need some mother plants that you can take clones from , that will save you time from starting from seed every time . after you decide which ones your mothers will be they can be kept in the veg room with the clones and seedlings . Get your setup to work so that you are starting clones every two weeks and after a year you should be harvesting every two to three weeks . Oh yeah are u using soil or hydroponics ? Hope this helps a little .

thanks yeah im doing exactly what you said... im using dwc hydro. Each batch of cuttings will be in its own container. Ive got 10 morning glory seeds that I am going to use all for mother plants that I am going to start germinating this week. I am also germinating about 20 diesel ryder feminized seeds I got online to get some quick, good smoke... any suggestions?

Considering you have 8 feet to play with i would grow 10 of the diesel ryders in veg till they get 24 inches and then put them in 12/12 for flowering , that should give you a real nice yield . The other ten i would top and grow to 12 inches then flower in 12/12 that will give you your "quick" harvest that you want . Why are you planning on using all ten of your morning glories as mothers? Why not five of each ? Just a suggestion.:peace::blsmoke:

Diesel Ryder = lowryder crappy autoflowering ruderalis seeds. Aka it's gonna flower no matter the light schedule.

yo blueberry, thanks for the input- ended up getting a 1000 hps from as friend and am putting 10 diesel ryders under them soon. started germinating them last night and within 8 hours they sprouted so now got them in root plugs. Trying to get a digital camera so I can post some picks. Got 10 plants in flowering right now too. Looking delicious

I tried to edit the post but I was drunkified (corn likker). Really sorry for being an ass. Thats a killer price. Get one or ten and go to town. Or get 40 and lease an old brewery.

Great let me know how the 1000w does for your flowering. Does it get real hot? How far do U keep it from the top of your plants?

hey man....started the 1000 going on the diesel ryders. Got it hooked up to an air vent so no heat coming off the light. Got it about a foot away from the diesels but could even move them closer. posting a pic of my baby (shes my first plant ever, The Church, in 4th week of flowering
