12/12 from 24/0 advice needed ?!?!

Hey guys I've been in veg for 5 weeks and would like to flower should i simply just put the plants in 12/12 or do i need to give them a dark period first or what????

Personal preference and you will hear a lot of people that say 32 hours darkness and then 12/12 will speed flowering up others just flip straight to 12/12. I only ever done flip to 12/12 so can't comment but am thinking of giving the darkness then the flip a go. Worth a shot IMO. Happy growing and hope this helps!

Yes, straight to 12/12 and wait out the stretch.

pretty sure you can just flip the switch, might want to switch them down gradually tho, maybe 22/2 then 20/4 the next day so on and so forth untill you have achieved your desired 12/12 light cycle. not sure if this is necessary i dont really know. i am pretty sure peoples who run 18/6 just switch to 12/12 when they are ready but you being on 24/0 might want to gradually change as mother nature changes by only a few minutes each day

consider that you may want to have the dark period at night to avoid light leaks

Or the dark period during the day to manage temperatures.

I'm growing cfl so my temps are low
