12/12 from seed affect potency?

Does growing a plant 12/12 from seed with HPS have any affects on the potency of the bud or taste?

I have heard that vegging out the plants a few weeks before going into 12/12 not only gives you better yields but also improve taste and potency of the riped harvest?

TRUE OR FALSE?

I have only thought it affects the yield since the plants are smaller.

Any input?

yes.. yeild only.
the plant will be as potent as its genetics, and the environment it is in will allow.
flavor and aroma come from what the plant eats throughout the bloom cycle, and is brought out by properly flushing, drying, and curing your bud.

Ah ic. Thanks. But why do nirvana or some seedbanks who sell ak48's has it in the description. Most growers veg for a longer time to get better tasting buds. or something. LOL

that is totally incorrect. auto-flower seeds don't need the 12/12 at all. that is what makes them AUTO-FLOWERING they will bloom just fine with 20 hours of light everyday, or any amount of light. they don't need the dark to bloom.

It will seriously affect yields unles you can fit like 30 seedlings under your light than it wont affect nothing ^_-
