lol i obviouslly know what 12-12 means but what will happen if i go str8 from 12-12 the whole time,the plants r just srufacing now,if i go 12-12 is that ok?i dont care about yield i figure to still get a good one after its done,any info would be appreciated!!!??

Why would you do that? Go 18/6 for about 3-4 weeks or however long till you want to flower them then go to 12/12

cant,the electirc bill would be too high if i did that,i dont pay the electric someone else does.so i have to go 12-12 from seed.i just want ot know what to expect?

There is a 12/12 thread going on, use the search button. There really isn't nothing wrong with going 12/12 from seed but you will not have as much of a yield if you vegged longer. If you don't care about yield just make sure you at least use a decent sized pot so you get more growth

Personally (this is just me) I wouldn't do it after week 2 into flowering but if you're going straight from 12/12 I'd at least wait until it shows pistils.

all 3 seeds r femmed so it should be showing sees within 2 weeks i hope,so transplanting wont hurt them then or what?could it cause a h ermie?if so i can just put them in bigger pots right now

ok thats cool,just wanted to know that.how big do u expect these 3 plants to get going 12-12 form seed?imrunning a 400 watt HPS,not nuting for the first 2 weeks,part of how i grow.then using biobizz nutes i think.but yea how big do u expect the plant to get going 12-12 from seed?and how much are the average yields for this technique?

I have a cheap solution for you.

Run your 400w 12-12 but when it shuts off run 1 or 2 CFLs to keep them in veg for 2-3 weeks and you will double if not triple your yield while adding little extra cost and time.

good idea,ill think about that overnight,i kind dont want to wait that long though i just want a harves tunder my belt before i go a full grow.ive already had 6 grows where i vegged 3-4 weeks evertime and couldnt flower because something came up,i just wanna flower@

You wont get a harvest in 8 weeks... 12-12 from seed takes 10-11 weeks of flower, 1 week of drying, 2-3 weeks curing with minimal yield

OR

You can veg for 2-3 weeks, flower for 8, dry 1 and cure 2-3 and get a MUCH bigger yield with the same time involved.(strongly recommended)

similar solution even cheaper tho....for the same reason (electric bill) its not really cost efficient for me to run the hps all the time just veg under flouros for 2-4 weeks and then start up the hid for flowering only....you will see a HUGE difference than if u go straight from 12-12 and no downside that ive found...plants seem to veg just fine under flouros its when they bud that they need that extra light imo

ok fine lol u gus talked me into vegging for 2 weeks with my cfls,i got like 3-5 of them all 23 watters,good brands too.one with a reflecor.ok so i will veg with them and no turn the hps on at all during htat time

Cool you will save electricity and get more bud. Thats what I call goin green!

Take the reflectors off so you can point the side of the bulb at the plants, it def helps.

ok will do.How tall do u think theyll get in 2 weeks with like 3-5 23 watt CFLs?would i even need to top or lst?i got about 5 feet of room!!!
