12 days into growth... too small?

hey guys! im new here and will be starting a grow journal soon. this is my first grow. the strain is Alaskan Ice and i planted 12 days ago. i wasnt sure if it was too small or if some strains just have a slow start up. thanx for any help!

It's all about the conditions the plants is sitting in. Could be little bigger but surely looks healthy.

look to the leaf on the right i think, 40% ov it is yellowed that should be green. definately stunted growth. is the plant in rockwool? have u used nutes? what light and what temp u growin in?

u should look into hydroponics if u want fast results i been using it a week and my plants are atleast triple your plant size but thats about right soil is just slower

no way! i got some 2 week old g-bomb seedlings they on their 4th set of 7 leafs .5 inch tall .9inch wide and a 4mm stem growing in organic soil

if the growth has been stunted... is that reversible? or is the plant messed up from here on out? i have been giving it nutes, but i havent gotten a thermometer yet, so i dont know what the temp is around the plant. i have i lit with 2, 2 foot flourescents.

are u growing in a bubble pot

im growing hydroponically, but i only have the water filled up to touch the bottom of the net pot, so the plant at this stage isnt touching the water because the roots arent long enough to come out the bottom of the pot. so for now, i have a tube thats pumping (dripping) water into the hydroton for 30min 5 times a day.

u need to check the ph.it might be a defichency

I'm growing alaskan ice too. Mine are 17 days. Theyre growing very slowly. Third set of leaves is just starting to grow. Yours look about at the point mine were at 12 days. I'm going to start feeding them nutes tommorrow. You should also think about getting an HPS or at least a few more cfls

Are you feeding them anything or are they getting just water right now? Whne growing in a water meduim they always need some type of nutrient after they use up what is in the first round leaves. Do you have nutrients for vegging plants? If so start out with 1/4 dose in your res.

i think i stunted her with stress. i tried to do everything correct, but i was building my setup while she was just coming out of the medium, so she has experienced a lot of moving around, lighting changes, watering changes, etc... if i stunted her, but manage to get her back on track, can she be just as healthy? or is she doomed from here on out?

The Green House Alaskan Ice seeds are very unstable. I am growing 5 from seed in soil, all organic. So far, at day 12 from seed I can spot 3 different pheno's. Out of the 5 plants 2 are about 2" tall and starting their third set of leaves but they are different pheno's 1 is more like haze, sativa dominant, the other has much fatter leaves and a fatter stem, just a different looking plant. The other 2 are very short 1" and have only sprouted their first set of leaves. They look healthy. they just seem to be growing very slowly. The 5th plant died (my fault). My point is, these are very trippy plants, very unstable...just have patience, it seems like some of the Alaskan Ice seeds just take a little longer to get going. Good Luck!

i have a few large ones, maybe 3 footers growing under a 400 hps in DWC set ups. and i'll tell ya. fast growers, but definately slow starters. i vegged for awhile too . i only use advanced nutes, ec and ph is always right in line to. i check em every other day. maybe thats to often but i try to stay safe and they soak up nute solution so fricking fast. super thirsty girls. each one is a different pheno for sure. i'll find a way to upload current pics where theyre at at 3 weeks into flower.they smell pretty dank so go get some of that ona gel or something similar.

dont give up. i've heard all the usual crap about alaskan ice and i've seen them work out awesome. smoked awesome before, stick it out.

they stress easy and can go hermie. so be careful and double check al your nutes, ec and ph on the regular. you'll thank me later.
