12 days into my first grow

Just wanted some input. I am growing 1 plant, just bag seeds, using 3 cfls (300w total of 6700K), store bought soil, mini fan and sometimes my desk fan on it. I started recently doing a 18/6 lighting due to the fact that during day hours the temp gets too hot to control. The plant itself seems really short. Any input/advice appreciated.

It looks great, nice and lushes green. Keep up on PH levels and get at least 14 CFLS[if 23w] total for this baby.[by the time you're flowering, get a few more now tho]

And just because a CFL has an equivlent to 100w doesn't make it 100w. you probably have either 23w or a 40w.

When do you plan to start nutes and what nutes are they?

that baby looks like a monster for 12 days, Mine are still really small and their 3 weeks now, But mine are also bag seeds too so i guess mine probably have crappy genetics. But looks real good man keep up the good work

Damn that looks good! I would definatley add some of the "warm" cfls to that, (2700k I think), to even out your spectrum.

I plan up starting nutrients after the 3rd week. Im still deciding which to use. I was definitely leaning towards something that would help with controlling the pH. And i was considering doing low stress training after the 3rd week too. Any suggestions on nutes?

I was reading about that, I planned on switching to 2700k during flowering. But do you think it would be a good idea to do it in veg stage too?

I'm a big fan of mixed spectrum lighting. For vegging I use two 55w 6500k CFL's and one 55w 3000k bulb. The bulbs are tube shape so I get the full spectrum across the whole area.
